FAQ

What’s the difference between Muay Thai and Kickboxing or other martial arts?

Muay Thai is also known as “The Art of Eight Limbs”. This is a representation of the sports dedication to use all facets of the body’s limbs while striking. In Muay Thai we use our hands, feet, knees, and elbows resulting in eight ways to defend/attack. This makes Muay Thai unique in regards to other striking sports that may only utilize their hand or hands & feet.

Are there belts in Muay Thai?

Muay Thai doesn’t rank students using a belt system. There are many levels of experience that are represented with different arm bands called “Prajiet” or “Prajioud”.

What kind of equipment do I need?

None… If you already have boxing gloves, hand wraps, shin guards, and Thai pads that is great, but we have you covered if you don’t. We also have BJJ Gi’s available for students to borrow while they are in their trial period. We have equipment for students to borrow when needed, so there is zero upfront expense.

How much money is a trial class?

Your first week is 100% Free with Zero obligation! That combined with our available training equipment for students to borrow makes for a no-nonsense training experience.

Can I come observe a class?

Absolutely! We have a open and welcoming receiving area and have areas in the training area that will allow you to safely observe a class.

Is there sparring in class?

We do incorporate “light” sparring in most of our classes as a way to close out each session. Sparring is 100% voluntary and is done within your comfort level. This is not an environment to measure your ego. We are here to help our teammates learn and grow, not keep them from training due to an injury.

When are payments due?
